Returning to school can be both exciting and intimidating for children. With new classmates, teachers, and challenges, it’s essential for kids to feel confident—both socially and physically. Unfortunately, as much as we wish we could, we cannot guarantee that they won’t encounter bullying or difficult social situations. What we can do is equip them with the tools they need to navigate these experiences with confidence and resilience.

At Union Martial Arts, our Kids Kickboxing and Jiu-Jitsu classes (offered 6 days a week – see our schedule here) are designed to do just that. These martial arts disciplines teach children more than just physical self-defense; they instill a sense of inner strength, discipline, and respect. By learning to protect themselves, children gain a sense of security that translates into greater social confidence. They learn to stand tall, speak up, and navigate their world with courage.

Our classes are tailored for kids as young as five, gradually increasing in complexity to suit the developmental stages of older children and teens. This progression ensures that each student can learn at their own pace, building both physical skills and mental toughness along the way. As they master new techniques and advance through our belt system, they experience firsthand the rewards of dedication and hard work—a lesson that extends far beyond the mats at Union and into their daily lives.

For Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced students...

For adults, the end of summer often marks a return to a more structured routine. After the laid-back days of vacation, many of us are eager to re-establish our fitness goals and dive back into activities that challenge and invigorate us. The start of the school year is the perfect time to commit to a new fitness journey or renew your dedication to one that may have taken a backseat during the summer months.

Union Martial Arts offers a variety of Adult Kickboxing and Jiu-Jitsu classes, six days a week (just see our schedule), designed to meet the needs of adults at any fitness or skill level. Our Beginner Kickboxing classes provide a high-energy workout that combines strength training, cardio, and striking techniques to help you build self-defense skills, endurance, and flexibility. For those interested in a more sparring-focused practice, we offer Intermediate/Advanced Kickboxing, where students learn advanced kickboxing concepts and techniques, as well as participate in sparring. Additionally, our Jiu-Jitsu classes offer a deep dive into this fun, effective and strategic martial art, with a strong emphasis on live resistance games and sparring. 

One of the best things about training at Union Martial Arts is the flexibility we offer. Our memberships come with no term contract, allowing you to train on your own terms. Whether you’re a busy professional, a student, or a parent juggling multiple responsibilities, our schedule accommodates your lifestyle. With classes available throughout the week, you can easily find a time that works for you.
