Union Martial Arts is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting the highly anticipated Encounter Combat Kickboxing Tournament on February 15th! This event promises to bring together amateur kickboxers of all ages and experience levels for an unforgettable day of competition, sportsmanship, and community.
About Encounter Combat
Encounter Combat is dedicated to creating exceptional opportunities opportunities for amateur kickboxers to showcase their skills in a safe and structured environment. By collaborating with local academies and coaches, Encounter ensures every tournament is thoughtfully organized and provides an excellent platform for competitors to grow and shine.
Tournament Details
Matches will be carefully created to ensure fairness and competitive balance. Participants will be grouped based on the following criteria:
- Age Divisions: Starting from as young as 4 and 5 years old, through kids, teens, and adults.
- Weight Classes: Competitors will be matched with opponents of similar weight for safety and fairness.
- Striking Experience Levels:
- Novice: Less than 6 months of experience
- Beginner: 6-18 months of experience
- Intermediate: 18-36 months of experience
- Experienced: Greater than 36 months of experience
- Tournament Experience: Prior tournament history will also be considered to ensure a level playing field.

Competitors can register for the event through Smoothcomp by visiting Smoothcomp.com. Registration ensures placement in the appropriate division and guarantees a competitive match tailored to their skill and experience level.
Spectator Information
Friends, family, and fans are encouraged to come cheer on their favorite fighters! Spectator admission is as follows:
- $20 (per spectator, 16 years and older)
- $15 (per spectator, ages 6-15)
- FREE for children 5 years and under
Food and beverages will be available at the concession stand, making it easy to enjoy the action-packed day without missing a moment.
