Charlotte Martial Arts Training

Martial Arts Classes for Charlotte Residents

Union Martial Arts serves Charlotte with kickboxing, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. We're located in Indian Trail—a 15-20 minute drive from most Charlotte neighborhoods.

What you get here is different from chain gyms: small class sizes, a coach who knows your name, and structured training that builds real skills over time.

Easy Access from All Charlotte Areas

From Uptown/Downtown:
Take I-277 South to I-485 South, then US-74 East to Exit 36B (Indian Trail/Fairview Road). Turn right—we're on your right at 1501-B Waxhaw Indian Trail Rd. About 18-22 minutes depending on traffic.

From South Charlotte (Ballantyne/Pineville):
I-485 North to US-74 East, Exit 36B. 15-18 minutes.

From East Charlotte (Matthews/Mint Hill):
Independence Boulevard to I-485 South to US-74 East, Exit 36B. 12-20 minutes depending on your starting point.

Evening classes at 6:00 PM and 7:15 PM work well with Charlotte commutes—leave by 5:40 PM to beat rush hour. Weekend classes have no traffic concerns.

What Makes the Drive Worth It

Charlotte has plenty of gyms. Most have 30+ people in a class and instructors who don't know anyone's name. We run small classes where you get actual coaching, not just someone leading from the front of the room.

Our unified program means all skill levels train together. Beginners work alongside experienced students who help and encourage. Families can train in the same classes—parents and teens often do.

We provide all equipment for beginners. No initiation fees, no annual contracts.

The culture here is unmatched.
