Our adult Kickboxing classes provide men and women with an incredible total body workout while teaching the self-defense skills of Boxing, Kickboxing and Muay Thai. In our friendly, safe, motivating and high-energy environment, our adult kickboxing students relieve stress, lose weight, increase stamina and build lasting self-confidence.

How does the program work?

Every Kickboxing class at Union Martial Arts is led by an expert coach that will personally guide and motivate you through your entire session. Beyond the incredible workout, our coaches make sure you are understanding and improving your Boxing, Kickboxing and Muay Thai techniques, class after class. 

Our Kickboxing classes are designed to give you the repetition needed to develop a high-level of fitness, technical proficiency, power and confidence in your self-defense skills. In all of our Kickboxing classes, there is no sparring and heavy bags are used as targets.

1. Do I need to prepare for my first class?

  • No need for any special preparation. We’ll provide you with a pair of gloves and guide you every step of the way!

2. How often do I need to take classes?

  • 2X per week is the minimum amount of training we recommend for any new student, child or adult. The more the better!

3. How many calories does Kickboxing burn?

  • We’ve had students who monitor their calorie burn report ranges from 650 to over 1,000 calories per class!

4. Will I Be “Fighting” other members?

  • All of our Beginner Kickboxing classes are non-contact, so you will not be sparring other students. Instead, our Beginner Kickboxing classes help you develop your Kickboxing skills a heavy bag. You will get an incredible workout in every class – all while having lot of fun in a very friendly, welcoming and safe environment. 

5. Do I need to have previous experience or any particular fitness level to enroll in Kickboxing classes?

  • Not at all. We strongly recommend that all new students go at their own pace in their first class. We will guide you every step of the way and make sure you receive a class that is fun, teaches you effective self-defense techniques and give you an incredible workout, regardless of your fitness level or prior experience.
