Union Martial Arts Kids Jiu-Jitsu program teaches the most practical self-defense skills for real-life encounters with bullies. We have developed our own unique and structured kids Jiu-Jitsu curriculum that progresses systematically at an age-appropriate level. It starts with fundamental techniques and concepts and gradually introduces more advanced techniques as students develop their skills. The curriculum covers various aspects of Jiu-Jitsu and Wrestling including takedowns, positions, submissions, escapes, reversals and transitions. In addition, we are big believers in the constraints-led approach to coaching kids Jiu-Jitsu, which, when coupled with positive-reinforcement, can really enhance and speed up the learning process for kids.
We constantly strive to create a friendly, supportive, professional and inclusive environment. Students of all levels and backgrounds are welcomed, and mutual respect among training partners is expected, creating an atmosphere conducive to learning, growth, friendship and most importantly, FUN!

No. There is zero sparring in our Adult Beginner Kickboxing program. Students who wish to spar would participate in our more advanced classes on the schedule.
No experience required at all. We will guide you every step of the way and make sure you receive a class that is fun and leaves you feeling proud of yourself for participating.
