What will kids achieve during kickboxing lessons?

Our kids kickboxing classes will help your child learn:

Practical Self-Defense Skills: In our kids kickboxing classes, children learn practical self-defense skills that empower them to respond confidently and effectively in real-life situations, helping them stay safe and secure.

Anti-Bullying Strategies: We teach kids not only how to protect themselves but also how to apply anti-bullying strategies, enabling them to handle bullying situations with assertiveness and resilience.

Confidence: As children progress through structured kickboxing training, they grow more capable and self-assured, gaining confidence in class and in everyday life.

Self-Discipline: Our kids kickboxing classes instill important values like self-discipline, teaching children to set goals, work consistently toward them, and develop a strong work ethic, promoting discipline and perseverance.

Fitness: Kids who join our kickboxing classes experience a fun and engaging way to improve their physical fitness. The training builds cardio, strength, flexibility, and coordination, helping children stay active and healthy.

Respect: We place a strong emphasis on respect in our classes. Children learn to respect their instructors, training partners, and themselves, fostering good sportsmanship and a positive attitude that extends to all aspects of their lives.

How does the program work?

Kids Kickboxing classes at Union Martial Arts are fun, yet disciplined. Our classes get kids to put down screens and video games in favor of an environment that will build them both physically and mentally. Throughout our step-by-step curriculum, we teach Boxing, Kickboxing and Muay Thai techniques with a strong emphasis on technical excellence. We then combine these techniques into highly effective kickboxing combinations.

Our classes are designed to give kids the repetition they need to develop proficiency, power, fitness and confidence in their growing self-defense skills. In all of our Kids Beginner Kickboxing classes, there is no sparring. Students use targets such as heavy bags to develop their technique.
